History of the Society
HAPS was established in 1982 from the remaining members of the Wiggin Panto Group, which was disbanded when facilities at Wiggin Alloys became unavailable. The society prides itself on being a fun, friendly group of dedicated people who perform an annual pantomime of their choice and in consequence, raise money for local good causes and charities.
Our shows are generally performed at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford during the half-term week in February each year. We encourage families to join as there are always jobs for willing Mums, Dads, brothers and sisters to do if they do not wish to go on the stage. This includes Backstage, Front of House. Chaperones for the young children and props, make-up and costume help. We are always grateful to recieve any help as each production depends heavily on the people kind enough to volunteer their time. Our minimum age for joining the society is 8 years old.
